OUR HISTORY
My experiences as a single mother of four and a Social Worker for over thirty years have shown me pain, suffering, heartbreak, and the struggles of raising children on your own. The population of single mothers has increased dramatically. In Brevard County, 32% of families are single-parent households. We founded our organization to provide sensible solutions to these challenges. Hebrews 13:16 reminds us: "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."

Love is a Verb Thrift Store has closed its doors
It is with mixed emotions that we announced the closing of our Thrift store. this decision was not made lightly and comes after careful consideration of several factors- personal, physical, financial, and spiritual. Plus, maintaining and recruiting volunteers has become increasingly challenging.
As we close this chapter, we are shifting our focus toward growing our non-profit and expanding the services we offered to single mothers and their children. Our hope is that this change will allow us to better meet the needs of our clients and make a deeper, more lasting impact in their lives.
