Transitional Housing
In August 2021, we proudly opened our Thrift Store, offering clients the opportunity to shop for free for clothing, household goods, and more. Our next endeavor is to secure a 3-4 bedroom home to provide shelter for single mothers and their children facing difficult housing situations. As rent and mortgage costs continue to rise, an increasing number of families are experiencing homelessness. This project can only become a reality with the support of our community. We humbly pray that God will touch your hearts to contribute and be part of this important initiative.
Meet one of our Single Moms
Let me introduce you to Tyan and her daughter Yuu. Tyan is currently a student at FIT working on finishing her PHD. Being a student and a single mom has its financial challenges. We are buying Yuu school uniforms for her along with some shoes. It's not a lot, but it means the world to Tyan and Yuu. This is just one of the many beautiful single Mothers we get to meet and help everyday. Each one has their own unique situation and story to tell. It is such a blessing for us to be able to have the tools and resources to be able to assist them in their struggles.
